Kenneth Marc Miller

Kenneth Marc Miller, 45 of Fort Myers, FL died in a tragic accident on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Formerly of Vadnais Heights, MN he had been a resident of Fort Myers for the past 8 years. He was born October 18, 1977 in St. Paul, MN the son of Marc C. and Judy K. (Roots) Miller. Ken was raised in White Bear Lake, MN, graduated from White Bear Lake Senior High School and earned his associates degree in heating and air conditioning at Century College. His career started at Avalanche Plumbing in Eagle, CO. He worked in Eagle and Vail, CO until moving back to the Twin Cities in 2008. There he continued in the plumbing, heating and air conditioning business before relocating to Southwest Florida. Ken loved nature, animals and the outdoors, especially bow hunting, but his true passion was his son, Marc. Together with Marc, they shot bow and arrow, enjoyed fishing and kayaking, playing video games and rooting for the Minnesota Twins and Mighty Mussels. They also enjoyed working on mechanical projects. Ken would engage Marc in work projects with him when he could. Mostly they treasured their time together. Survivors include his cherished son, Marc Curtis Miller II and his ex-wife Jillian, mother of Marc, of Estero, FL; step-son Nathaniel Cypher of Ft. Myers, FL; parents, Marc and Judy Miller of Estero, FL; sister, Melissa (Karl) Maurer and their children, Aleah and Hailey of N. Branch, MN; brother, Dan (Maureen) Hursey of Zephyrhills, FL and their children, Matthew, Christopher and Samantha; cousin, Michelle (Derick) Anderson of Burnsville, MN; and aunts, Peggy Shaffer and Sherry Roots of Peoria, IL. He is also survived by many other cousins and great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 11:00 - 11:30 AM at Estero Church, 8088 Lords Way Street, Estero, FL 33928. A Celebration of Life service for Ken will begin following the visitation at 11:30 AM. A reception will follow.
