Glenn Lee Gray

Glenn Lee Gray, born on February 17, 1953, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2024, in Fort Myers, Florida. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. Glenn was a devoted father to his children: Stacia Patricia Gonzalez (married to Tony Gonzalez), Kelly Gray (married to Lynn Vaulx), and Dustyn Gray. He cherished his family and was a source of love and support to each of them. Glenn was also a loving brother to his late sister Gloria Foster and his brother Charles Gray. His parents, Margaret Lou Gray and Stanley Lee Gray, preceded him in death. Glenn found joy in his role as a grandfather to his grandchildren: Daxton Speer, Greyson Speer, Katilynn Gray, Kelsey Hill, Shyane Gray, Ashlynn Vaulx, Tre (Lynn Vaulx III), Lyndsey Vaulx, Trayce Gray, and Bodhi Gray. He also had three great-grandchildren: Daniel Clark Jr (Little D), Kyleigh Porterfield, and Khizar Hill, whom Glenn will join in heaven. His passion for travel, music, and exploring new restaurants brought joy to his life. He especially loved the beautiful beaches and weather of Florida, where he could often be found enjoying tiki bars with live music. Glenn also had a love for being on a boat, where he found peace and tranquility on the water. Glenn's love story continued when he met and married his beloved wife, Gloria Stella Salazar de Gray, on October 16, 2010. Together, they shared a beautiful life as life partners, creating cherished memories with family and friends. Glenn's journey as a father was marked by dedication and love. He raised Stacia and Kelly as a single father, and later, 17 years later, welcomed Dustyn into his life with open arms. He was also a loving stepfather to Brigitte Lee Avila Salazar. Throughout his career as a Capital Projects Manager with Allied Orion Group, Glenn built great work relationships and found fulfillment in his work, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked with. Glenn also had a lot of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He cherished his friendships from years ago to the present, valuing each connection deeply. A memorial service to celebrate Glenn's life will be held at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Trail So., Bonita Springs, FL 34134, on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
