Kenneth Jerald Lee

Kenneth Jerald Lee, 87, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025. Born December 17, 1937, in Cookeville, TN, he was the son of the late Henderson Jerald and Ina D. (Green) Lee. Raised in Dayton, OH, Ken made his way to Fort Myers in 1964 from Miami, FL, where he went on to build a life full of purpose and passion. A true entrepreneur at heart, Ken prided himself on being in the “People Business." He owned and operated Palm City Chrysler Plymouth and Gator Auto Sales (Jeep/AMC/Rambler) in Fort Myers. He also established a successful construction company specializing in spec houses for first-time homebuyers, owned an auction house, and dedicated over 50 years to his career as a licensed Florida realtor and investor. His work was a reflection of his desire to help others and his commitment to the community. Outside of his professional life, Ken was an avid fisherman who found peace on the water. He also enjoyed hunting, gardening, umpiring Little League baseball and spent many happy years with his beloved golden retrievers. Ken’s love for the outdoors and his cherished pets brought him much joy and fulfillment. Ken’s family meant the world to him. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cheryl A. (Ancefsky) Lee; his children, Kenneth (Debbie) Lee, Jr. of Live Oak, FL, Ronald (Tammy) Lee of Cape Coral, FL, Cindy (Mike) Hefner of Howell, MI, Jennifer (Tom) Lynch of Richmond, VA, Kyle (Carol) Lee of Fort Myers, FL, and Taylor (David) Titus of Estero, FL. He also leaves behind his cherished sisters, Dorothy Coyle of Venice, FL, Dapho (Frank) Reynolds of Troy, OH, Delpha Heussner of Fort Myers, FL, Doris (Dan) Shackleton of Dayton, OH, Brenda Finley of Medway, OH, and Linda Netting of San Antonio, TX. Ken is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom he adored and took great pride in. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Miromar Lakes Country Club.
