Our sweet, beautiful, daughter, Madison Paige Younger, our precious Madi, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at just 2 years old. She was born April 29, 2024, in Fort Myers, Florida. She left this world exactly where she belonged—in her mommy’s arms, holding her daddy’s hand, surrounded by the love that carried her through every moment of her beautiful life. There are no words that can truly describe the love we have for Madi or the emptiness her absence leaves behind. From the moment she entered our lives, she brought a light that could brighten even the darkest days. Her smile was contagious, and anyone lucky enough to see it could not help but smile too. She had a way of making people feel joy simply by being herself. Madi loved watching Ms. Rachel, playing peek-a-boo, and spending every second she could with her family. She never cared about where we were or what we were doing—as long as we were together, she was happy. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by the people she loved. More than anything, Madi adored her big brothers, Brady and Griffin. The love she had for them was pure and unconditional. Their bond was something truly special, and it was clear that her brothers were among her favorite people in the entire world. For the last year of her life, Madi fought harder than anyone should ever have to. She faced every day with a strength that amazed every doctor, nurse, family member, and friend who knew her story. Though she was only a little girl, she taught all of us what courage, determination, and resilience truly look like. She changed lives simply by being here. She inspired people she never even met. As her mom and dad, we will always be in awe of her strength. Madi was the bravest person we have ever known. While our hearts ache beyond words, we find comfort in knowing she is healed, seizure-free, running as fast as she wants, dancing to all of her favorite songs, laughing, smiling, and finally free. Madi leaves behind her devoted mommy and daddy, Jennifer and Adam Younger, her beloved brothers, Brady and Griffin Younger, her loving grandparents Mimi and Pops (Mary Jane and Scott Harris) and Nay and Papa (Rene and Corey Younger). Her loving aunts and uncles include Lauren Harris, Megan Harris, Ashley (Tommy) Underhill and Heather (Tyler) Neubert. She also leaves behind her cousins Hannah, Harper and Scott Harris, Owen and Lacy Underhill and Ace, Emma, Cole and Max Neubert who loved her every minute of her life. She is survived by many other relatives on both sides of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, courage, and hope that will never fade. Our family will never be the same without her. There will always be a place at our table, a space in our hearts, a longing for one more smile, one more hug or kiss and one more moment with our beautiful girl. We are so grateful for every second we were given with her. Until we hold you again, sweet Madi, we will carry you with us in everything we do. Thank you for teaching us about unconditional love, extraordinary strength, and what it means to fight with everything you have. You will always be our greatest blessing, our sweetest girl, and the most beautiful part of our story. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Madison. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Sanibel Community Church at 1740 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, FL. The service will be at 10:00 am and the family will receive visitors after the ceremony in the fellowship hall. Your presence, love and prayers are the greatest gifts we could receive and we are deeply grateful for the kindness and support that has surrounded our family. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor our sweet Madi in an additional way may contribute directly to Jen & Adam. We are currently working to start Madi’s Mission, a foundation which will be established in Madi’s memory to continue sharing the love, joy and light she brought into this world and to support the causes that are close to our family’s hearts.
