Nahldene “Sam” Green of Cape Coral, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday morning at 3:45a in her home. Nahldene “Sam” Frances Evans was born in Redwood City, California on February 19, 1944. Daughter of Malvina Abbott, two sisters Sharon McCombs and Nancy Grinnell, and two brothers Will McGuire and Steve Connell. Sam has so many friends from all over the country, she especially loved her group of friends living within her community at Brunt Store Marina. Sam was married on April 6, 2013, at the Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club to her adoring husband Phillip Green Sr. Sam worked as a regional secretary and treasurer for the West Coast Safeway stores. She owned two regional newspapers in Southern California. Sam was the Supervising Account Executive for the Price Is Right for 20 years. She worked as the leading expert in permanent makeup at her company MPi Clinic Inc. and also had a school to teach her craft. Sam moved to Southwest Florida and became a successful realtor. Sam enjoyed crafting in her large craft studio, golfing, boating, playing cards, organizing gatherings/parties, and creating artwork. Sam was the past Treasurer for the Burnt Store Republican Club. Her faith was very important to her, Sam was a member of the Burnt Store Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed her daily devotions in Jesus' Calling and loved gifting this special book to her friends and loved ones. Sam is survived by her loving husband Phillip Green Sr. Her sons JB and Akemi Slear, Jon and Sandy Slear, and daughter, Liz and Larry Homuth. Sam is survived by her children through marriage Elizabeth and Chris Heffernan, Phillip Green II “Chip” and Michele Green, Stephanie and Bernie Owens, Eric and Michelle LaBounty and Kristin and Michael Phillips. She is survived by 18 grandchildren, AJ Nunez, Angela Park, Samantha Wijesekera, Alexis Slear, James Slear, Jonathon Slear, Madilyn Theyson, Anna Theyson, Will Heffernan, Marin Heffernan, Cassidy Almon, Ryan Green, Delaney Green, Elizabeth Owens, Cecilia Owens, Josh LaBounty, Jacob LaBounty and Carlin Phillips. Sam is survived by her 8 great-grandchildren Christian, Santiago, Sofia, Gibson, Beckham, Mateo, Nico, and Luka. Sam is survived by her wonderful sister Sharon McCombs. Sam is survived by her sweet miniature golden doodle baby girl, Cali. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held in the fall, more information to come.
