Rosanne M. Dugan

Rosanne M. (Kitty) Dugan, age 97, of Naples, FL died peacefully at her residence on October 19, 2023. She was born on September 2, 1926, in Des Moines, Iowa, a daughter of the late Daniel and Ruth (Thompson) Fischer. A former resident of Rochester, NY, Kitty had been a winter resident of Naples since 1983 and became a permanent resident in 2014. She was a graduate of Nazareth High School and attended Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. She was a lifelong parishioner of Our Mother of Sorrows Church in Greece, NY, and after relocating to Naples, became a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She loved the game of golf and was a founding member of Craig Hill Country Club and a member of Ridgemont Country Club in Rochester. She is survived by her ten children and their spouses, M. Kevin Dugan (Margaret) of Naples, FL, Christine Tracy Baker of Reston, VA, Terrence Dugan (Claudia) of Naples, FL, Kathleen Gaffney (Raymond) of Pittsford, NY, Coleen Dugan of Rochester, NY, Brian Dugan (Paula) of Collegeville, PA, Sheila Snyder (Neil) of Naples, FL, Daniel Dugan (Karen) of Reston, VA, Paul Dugan of Rochester, NY and Timothy Dugan of Los Angeles, CA. Kitty was cherished and loved by her 27 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Kitty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald M. Dugan who died on October 31, 1990, her brother, Daniel Fischer who died in combat during World War II, and her three sisters, Mary Catherine Baier (Jerry), Ruth Fischer, and Susan Andrus. Services for Kitty are scheduled for November 17, 2023, at the Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY. Visitation at the Chapel will be from 10:00 AM until Noon, followed by a Funeral Mass. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
