Sharon B Shick

Sharon B. Shick, 83, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 21, 2026. Her love for Jesus was demonstrated daily for her family and friends. Her family was extremely important to her, and she valued each moment she could share her life with them. Sharon was born in Amarillo, Texas on February 17, 1943 to the late Raymond T. and Eva G. Bayliss. She was a graduate of San Ramon Valley HS; class of 1960. Two years after her high school graduation, she married her husband, Chet Shick, on January 19, 1962. They enjoyed 59 wonderful and blessed years together. While residing in Williamsport, PA for the past 53 years, Sharon was employed by the local branch of the Boy Scouts of America. More recently, she was employed by the state of PA, working as a case worker for the Dept. of Welfare. Sharon was a member of St. Ann’s Church in Loyalsock, PA. She was active with the choir and loved to share her musical talents worshipping God. While residing in Bonita Springs, Florida her last six months, she enjoyed attending Calvary Chapel Gulf Coast. Sharon was an enthusiastic Penn State Football fan. She enjoyed time with friends and family at most home games. She was a season ticket holder and booster club member for many years. Sharon was an avid bowler, spending many years dominating the woman’s leagues at the Faxon Bowling Lanes. Both Chet & Sharon were also avid golfers and were members of the White Deer Golf Course. Sharon loved to play bridge. She was a member of a local bridge club, most recently supported by the Woman’s Club of Williamsport, where she also served at the administrative level as a treasurer. Sharon was known for her passion for social interaction, both with family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, and would sacrifice all for her husband and children. Sharon is survived by her two sons, Lee (Ellen) of San Antonio, Texas and Robert (Donna) of Bonita Springs, Florida. She is also survived by her brother Jon (Tammy) of Rockledge, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Shick (2021), her son, Brian (1994), and brother Raymond (Skip) Bayliss (Molly) of Melbourne Beach, FL. Sharon also leaves behind five grandchildren, Danielle Francis (Kyle), Adam Shick (Aleah), Dylan Shick (Sarah), Ali McLallen (Christopher), and Delaney Shick. Delaney is set to be married to David Reynolds on Saturday, September 26, 2026. There will be a celebration of life on October 13, 2026 from 10:00am-11:00am at Sharon’s resting place, The Wildwood Cemetery, where she will join her husband, Chester, son, Brian.
