William G. Campbell

William G. Campbell 80, of Estero, FL died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Physician Regional Medical Center in Naples, FL. He was born August 21, 1942 in Winthrop, MA son of the late Carlton T. and Delphine (McKinley) Campbell. He was a former resident of Revere, MA before moving to Estero, FL in 2013. He was a graduate of Revere High School, Revere, MA and after graduation, he joined the U.S. Air Force and proudly served his country for 4 years in England. After his service, he became an Insurance agent and eventually opened his own agencies, Campbell and Chambers Insurance Agencies with three locations in Lynn, MA, Malden, MA and Revere, MA. He sold the agencies in 1991. Bill is survived by the love of his life, his devoted and loving wife of 31 years, Maurene J. Campbell of Estero, FL; 4 children, Elaine (Campbell) Dalton and her husband, David of Haverhill MA, Carlton T. Campbell, II and his wife, Heidi of Kingston NH, Monica Gardner and her husband, Will of Estero FL and Melanie Rodrigues and her husband Dave of Santa Barbara, CA. Bill is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; Bill’s grandchildren: Elaine and David’s children Theodore Veerman, Stephanie Veerman, Elliot Dalton, Sophia Dalton, Nicole Dalton and Brett Dalton. Carl and Heidi’s children Laura Campbell, William G Campbell ll and his wife, Alison, Kathryn DeJesus, Timothy Campbell, Lydia Campbell, Carlton Campbell and Nolan Campbell. Monica and Will’s children James Gardner, Brandon Gardner, Jessica (Gardner) Delorme and her husband, Robinson. Melanie and Dave’s daughter Beija Rodrigues. Bill’s great-grandchildren are Laura’s daughter Aurora and her son Odin, Billy’s sons Jace, Brody and his daughter Gianna, Kathryn’s daughter Saige, Timothy’s son Cayson, Lydia’s son Jaxon, Jessica’s daughter Vanessa, her son Elijah and her third baby on the way. Private immediate family services were held in Bonita Springs, FL with an additional memorial service to be held in New Hampshire honoring Bill at a date to be determined.
