Beverly Jane Creps

BEVERLY JANE (CRATES) CREPS Estero, FL, age 87, died peacefully Saturday, April 16, 2022. Born on June 12, 1934, in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Wilburt F. Crates and Burnedette V. (Drake). She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel Elliot Creps Jr.; sister, Dolores; and brother, Bill. She grew up on a farm in Bay Village, OH and married Darrel at the Bay Village United Methodist Church. They celebrated 54 years of marriage prior to Darrel’s passing in 2011. She worked for the Bay Village Board of Education for over 25 years as the Supervisor of Transportation. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She cherished raising her three children, Cindy, Linda, and Del and loved attending all their school and sporting events. She and Darrel retired to Annapolis, MD to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She loved babysitting and attending her grandchildren’s sporting and musical events. Bev and Darrel later moved to Florida for warmer winters where their favorite past times were traveling, cruising, shopping, and playing cards. Left to cherish her memories are her loving children, Cynthia (Cindy) A. Brown (Joe) of Bonita Springs, FL, Linda J. Creps of Estero, FL (Dawn) and Darrel (Del) E. Creps III (Kristi) of Colorado Springs, CO, and grandchildren, Sarah, Sam, Lexi, Katie, Jonathan, Carly, Tylee, and Bo. The family will be holding a private service and burial in Annapolis, MD in June.
