Charles H. Freece
November 18, 1944 - April 24, 2022
Charles H. Freece, 77 of Estero, FL passed away on April 24, 2022. He had been an Estero resident for the past 22 years and a Canton, MI resident for over 40 years. Charlie was born on November 18, 1944 in Norristown, PA the son of the late Raymond Freece and Anna May (Vielhauer) Griffith. Charlie was a caring and devoted father and a true and faithful friend. He especially enjoyed golfing in multiple leagues and watching sports with his buddies. He attended Drexel University for his bachelor’s degree, Eastern Michigan University for his master’s degree and was a Navy veteran. He had a long, successful career as a financial analyst with Ford Motor Company. He had a mind for numbers, but a heart for classic rock and roll. He could often be found tapping his fingers to the sounds of Doo Wop and you might even catch him whistling along. As a teenager, he played organ in the band “The Fabulous Kingsmen.” Survivors include his loving children, Krista Freece (Nicholas Rowe) of Vista, CA and Steve (November) Freece of Ypsilanti, MI; adoring grandchildren, Jordan, Jeremiah, Cornelia, and Katrien Freece, as well as Melanie, Bobbi (Loessel), and Jonathan Jones and his friend, Penny Sinkevics.
