Howard G. Showalter Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Howard G. Showalter, 90, of Bonita Springs, Florida, died peacefully on June 5, 2022, in Bonita Springs, after a short battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was surrounded by his family who loved him dearly. Howard was born on October 15, 1931, in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where he grew up. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of South Dakota and went on to serve in the Marine Corps as a 1st Lieutenant. Following his service, Howard acquired a MBA degree from Northwestern University. Howard was loved by many over the years and was known for his deep love of God. He was generous with his time and what the Lord gave him throughout his life. He was a hardworking businessman who became the owner of several restaurants over his career. He touched many lives through the ministries he supported and was the proud founder of Harvest Ministries. He and his wife Patricia attended Bay Presbyterian Church in Bonita Springs. Howard is survived by his wife, Patricia “Patti”; sons, Randall (Treasure), Michael Scott (Michelle), and Samuel; daughter, Laura Ann Showalter; and sister, Edye (James) Slovick. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Derek, Jacqueline, Daniel, Michael Jr., and Maxwell. He was predeceased by his son, Robert Showalter. A Celebration of Life will be held in Cleveland, OH at a later date.
