Jake Hunter Dault

April 23, 1996 - July 6, 2021

Jake Hunter Dault, 25 of Estero, FL passed away suddenly as the result of an automobile accident on the morning of July 6th, 2021. Jake was born in Ann Arbor, MI and spent most of his childhood years in Chelsea, MI where his family resided until moving to Florida in 2011. Jake had a passion and talent for mechanics and could always be found with his head under the hood of a truck or lending a helping hand to someone in need. Jake’s drive and initiative to learn was unmatched. He loved wrenching, especially on diesels (particularly Powerstrokes). Jake loved going fast, off roading, riding motorcycles; pretty much anything with tires on it. He was a straight up gearhead & adrenaline junkie! Jake was the type of person that even if you had met him once, you’d never forget him. You could feel his positive energy surround you. He was very confident and optimistic no matter what the situation was. Glass was always half full in his eyes. He took pride in everything he did and always loved a challenge. Some of Jake’s favorite sayings were: “If you ain’t first, your last baby! “All gas, no brakes!” “Let her RIP, Tator Chip!” “Go BIG or Go HOME!” Jake’s family and friends are everything to him, there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for the people he loved or even a complete stranger. His family and friends will remember him as having a kind soul, who made his family a priority. He loved with his whole heart and was a giving man who would often help out the less fortunate in their time of need. Jake is survived by his Mother, Dawn Dault; Brother, Nikolaus S. Dault; Sister, Samantha R.Dault and her Fiance, Justin Bossi; Grandmother, Letha Atkinson, and Grandfather, Floyd Murphy. He was preceded in death by his Father, Scott Dault and his dog, Baby Girl. A private service for the family was held on Friday, July 9th, 2021 at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home, Bonita Springs, FL 34134. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family via Zelle at 734-216-3323 or by mail to Dawn at 13859 Farnese Dr., Estero FL 33928.
