Mary Ray Rheel Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Surrounded by her family, Mary Ray Rheel has entered the kingdom of heaven on June 18th where we are sure that she was greeted by her mother, father and two brothers, Joe and Mike. She passed away peacefully with the spirits of family filling the room from both heaven and earth. Mary would have turned 88 on June 19th. With her father’s antipasto, mother’s lasagne, Joe’s clams, Mike’s escarole soup and Mary’s eggplant parmesan Sunday meal in heaven will be incredibly special. Mary Ray is survived by her husband of 66 years, Harold. She is also survived by her son, Vincent, daughter-in-law, Janice and her son, Robert, daughter-in-law, Nancy; granddaughters, Kelly (Stephen), Jennifer (Michael), Whitney (Tim), Ashley and Amy; and great grandchildren, Stephanie, Tanner, Mason and Cooper. A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, 28300 Beaumont Rd. Bonita Springs, FL 34134 followed by interment at Palm Royale Cemetery 6780 Vanderbilt Beach Rd., Naples, FL 34119. Our family would like to express their thanks to the amazing staff at The Terraces, Renaissance at The Terraces and Hope Hospice. We are forever grateful and appreciative of the tender loving care and kindness you all showed Mary Ray. Your compassion in every aspect of her care will never be forgotten.
