Robert S. Delaney 61, of Naples died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. He was born on September 7, 1959 in Jersey City, NJ a son of the late Robert E. and Martha M. (née Ludlow) Delaney. He had been a resident of Naples since 1995 coming from Jacksonville, FL. He attained his associate’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. Robert was a certified Community Association Manager (CAM) currently working for Resort Management in Naples. Prior to working from Resort Management he had worked for GRS Community Management. Bob had a passion for football and spent seven years as a coach for multiple teams with the Estero Mustangs Pop Warner Football program. Bob was also a member of the Notre Dame Club of Southwest Florida and a staunch fan of the Fighting Irish. He is survived by his triplets, Molly Mackenzie Delaney, Morgan Alexis Delaney and Jake Robert Delaney all of Naples, FL; his former wife and mother of his children, Melanie Dorcy and her husband, Stephen Dorcy; two sisters, Kathleen Dillon and her husband, Donald of Springhill, TN and Gail F. Karberg and her husband, Kenneth of Bernalillo, NM; two brothers, Shawn Delaney and his wife, Nicole of Palm Bay, FL and Francis X. Delaney and his wife, Tara of Jacksonville, FL and 10 nieces and nephews. Bob is also survived by three step-children, Brendan O’Connell, Hayden O’Connell and Keegan O’Connell. He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin sons, Devin and Hunter Delaney who passed at birth in 2001. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Artichoke & Company 11920 Saradrienne Lane Bonita Springs, FL 34135.
