Thomas D. Knoche, 77 of Bonita Springs, FL died on August 2, 2021. Born on June 25, 1944 in Buffalo, NY, he was a son of the late Robert and Margaret (Cotton) Knoche. Tom was a gentleman; polite and well mannered. He had a smile that always greeted you. He enjoyed playing golf and always tried his best not to lose too many golf balls. The Gulf, sunshine, the beautiful cloud formations and all that Florida offers made him happy. For 54 years, his world revolved around selling Cadillacs. He enjoyed talking and working with his customers, always having a story to share. Tom was a loving partner, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. Tom recently retired and although his retirement was short, his life was full. “When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.” Tom is survived by fiancée, Nancy Smith; sons Robert (Susan) Knoche, Russell (Jill Wierzba) Knoche and Ryan (Kacie Zglinicki) Knoche; grandchildren Trent Knoche, Taylor Wierzba, Ryan Knoche and Theo Knoche; great-granddaughter Skylar Wierzba; and brothers John (Miki) Knoche and William Knoche. A private Celebration of Life service will be held in Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs, on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 11 AM. An additional service will follow at a later date in New York. Tom will be inurned in Hartland Cemetery, Gasport, NY.
