Victoria A. DeFrancisco

Victoria A. DeFrancisco, 94 of Bonita Springs, FL passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice. Formerly of Newtown Square, PA she had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 1984. Victoria was born December 27, 1927 in Berwick, PA the daughter of Clement and Lydia (Ladonis) West. Together with her husband, she owned and operated a Dairy Queen in Upper Darby, PA for 39 years until her retirement in 1991. Victoria was a devout catholic and faithful parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Naples, where she enjoyed volunteering with many different activities. Survivors include her loving daughter, Josette L. (William) Gearhart of Cincinnati, OH; brothers, Len (Marie) West of Hobe Sound, FL, Al (Diane) West of Berwick, PA; grandchildren, Lauren (Tarik) Peat, David (Marissa) Gearhart; and great grandchildren, Daniel Gearhart, Isabel Gearhart and Hunter Peat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. DeFrancisco in 2013; and brothers, Henry West, Clem West and Teddy West. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Ave. N., Naples, FL 34108. Burial will follow in the church memorial garden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Victoria’s name may be made to Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs, FL 34135. Arrangements are being handled by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home, Family Owned Since 1978.
