Arthur William Beal, 81, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026, with his daughter by his side. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Arthur lived a life centered around the people he loved, a quiet kindness that touched those around him, and a genuine enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures. Over the years, he called Medfield, Massachusetts; Coventry, Rhode Island; Danbury, Connecticut; Marlboro, New Jersey; and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware home, before settling in Bonita Springs, Florida, where he lived for more than a decade. Arthur built a successful career in banking at Deutsche Bank on Wall Street before retiring. In Florida, he embraced a slower pace of life, enjoying the beach and sunshine (especially in Siesta Key), time at the pool, and the many friendships he made in his community. Arthur was a gentle, kind, and easygoing man with a sensitive soul. He was happiest when he was surrounded by family and friends and never needed much to make him happy. He was a devoted father and grandfather and was incredibly proud of his three daughters, Heather Zrebiec (Jim), Hillary Norcia (Ed), and Jaime Tinkelenberg (Michael), and his ten grandchildren, Zac, Jack, Ben, Olivia, Lily, Alexa, Sophia, Joseph, William, and Sam. His girls and grandchildren were among his greatest sources of pride and joy. As a father, Arthur loved giving his daughters experiences they would remember for a lifetime. He took them canoeing, deep-sea fishing, skiing, to amusement parks, and on countless family trips, including Puerto Rico, and many cruises. Sunday pool days and barbecuing were always a highlight in the summers and you could always count on him to find the biggest Christmas tree for the holidays. He had a wonderful sense of adventure and a gift for making ordinary family time feel like something special. Arthur loved playing cards and could almost always be counted on to have several decks nearby. Throughout his life, he enjoyed traveling and in his younger years, riding his motorcycle. He loved the ocean and found happiness in being around the people he cared about. Giving back to others was also an important part of Arthur’s life. At St. John XXIII Catholic Church in Fort Myers, he volunteered every week counting money for the church, quietly giving his time and service to a community he cared about. He met many special people there and developed connections that he deeply treasured. Arthur’s family will remember him most for the way he loved them; with patience, gentleness, kindness, and unwavering support. He was a steady presence in the lives of his daughters and a proud grandfather who treasured every one of his grandchildren. He was the kind of dad whose love could always be counted on, and that unconditional love and support will be deeply missed. His family hopes that whenever they feel the warmth of the Florida sun, hear the sound of the ocean, watch a beautiful sunset, or pick up a deck of cards, they will think of him and smile. His gentle spirit, kind heart, and unconditional love will remain with his family always. He was deeply loved, and he will be deeply missed.
