Carol Sue Ferreri

Carol Sue Ferreri, age 78, of Naples, FL, Pittsford, NY, and Boston, MA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at her Naples residence. A longtime seasonal resident of Southwest Florida, Carol had also lived in Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach, and she will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Born on March 20, 1946, in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and June (Couts) Strong. Carol was a graduate of Alfred Tech University in Alfred, NY, where she met the love of her life, Nicholas T. Ferreri. They married and shared 58 wonderful years together, creating a beautiful family and a life filled with love and adventure. Carol was an avid golfer and tennis player who cherished her time on the court. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting, often creating gifts for family and friends. Above all, Carol treasured her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her love for her children and grandchildren was immeasurable. Surviving Carol are her beloved husband, Nicholas T. Ferreri; her loving children, Kevin M. (Christina) Ferreri of East Kingston, NH, Jeffrey T. (Julie) Ferreri of Bergen County, NJ, Michael C. (Natalie) Ferreri of Atlanta, GA, and Nicole R. Solet of Atlanta, GA; her brother, William (Sara) Strong of Syracuse, NY; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Reed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Leonard of Port Maurice Parish, 320 Hanover Street, Boston, MA 02113. A private family reception by invitation to celebrate Carol’s life will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carol’s name may be made to the church at the address above.
