Diana M. Kopidlansky

Diana Meredith (Chrobak) Kopidlansky, age 90, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Hope Hospice in Ft. Myers, FL. Diana was born on June 8, 1935, in Chicago, IL. She was the daughter of Frank and Pauline Chrobak (nee Beganis). On July 9, 1960, she married Victor R. Kopidlansky of Manitowoc County, WI. Over the course of 65.5 years, Vic and Diana made their homes in Chicago, IL; Waldwick, NJ; Roselle, IL; Westchester, IL; Versoix (Geneva), Switzerland; Scottsdale, AZ; Barrington, IL; Palatine, IL; Lighthouse Point, FL; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and Ft. Myers Beach, FL. Diana was a great cook! Her shrimp creole was always a favorite meal. And when she wasn’t managing the family real estate properties, she loved playing the slot machines at various casinos especially the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, IN; the Gulf Coast casinos; the casinos in Atlantic City, NJ; the Flamingo and Harrah’s in Las Vegas, NV. Over the years, Diana enjoyed traveling both internationally and domestically with her family. One of her favorite places to visit was Hong Kong. She is survived by her husband Victor Kopidlansky of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; her 4 children: Lisa (Brian) Mages of Liberty Township, OH; Mark (Sheri) Kopidlansky of Dallas, TX; Cynthia Kopidlansky of Chicago, IL; and Erik Kopidlansky of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; her 5 grandchildren: Elizabeth (Samuel) Martin of Chicago, IL; Christopher Mages of Liberty Township, OH; Bryce (Sophia) Kopidlansky; Keeton Kopidlansky of Nashville, TN; and JP (Elizabeth) McKibbin of Dubai. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren: Atlas, Karina, and JP Junior; her sister Nicolette Knysz; sister-in-law Julia Denor; brother-in-law Paul William (Betty) Kopidlansky; sister-in-law Gloria Warnicki; and former sister-in-law Gail Warnicki. She is further survived by her cousins as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank Chrobak and Pauline Warnicki; her stepfather Stanley Warnicki; her brother Stanley Warnicki; sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Daniel Lamping; brother-in-law Richard Knysz; and her Kopidlansky in-laws: Albert and Mary Kopidlansky; Margaret (Isadore) Brandl; Frank (Margaret) Kopidlansky; Monica (Norbert) Geiger; Ann (Ray) Chasensky; Ginny Chasensky; Albert Jr. (Mary) Kopidlansky; Mary (Elmer) Reindl; Leornard Denor; Edward (Patricia) Kopidlansky; and Joan Kopidlansky. In accordance with Diana’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a funeral mass this summer in Chicago, IL followed by a mass in Manitowoc, WI where Diana will be interred at the Calvary Chapel Mausoleum.
