Nancy A. Green

Nancy Anne Green (Driscoll), 66, of Southwest Florida, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 2, 1959, in San Angelo, Texas to James F. and Dolores M. (Kane) Driscoll, and grew up in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania suburbs. Nancy devoted her life to her children, grandchildren, and extended family. She held her loved ones close to her heart and found her deepest joy in the time she shared with them, especially during beach vacations and grandkid playtime. Known for her kindness and willingness to help others, Nancy had a special gift for making each person feel truly loved and valued. Nancy earned her bachelor’s degree from George Mason University. She proudly served students of all ages as a dedicated student advisor at several institutions of higher education. She was deeply passionate about helping students discover their goals and build lives filled with purpose and meaning. Nancy’s faith was her greatest source of strength and comfort. She lived by the words of Psalm 18:2 “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Her trust in God remained steadfast and brought her peace throughout her life. Nancy is survived by her children Michael Riccio (Sydney) and Ryan Riccio (Ashley); and her cherished grandchildren, Emerson, Nolan, Cameron, Paxton, and Easton. She is also survived by her siblings; James Driscoll (Joanne), Paul Driscoll (Colleen), and Colleen Merk (Chris), along with twelve nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Avenue North, Naples, Florida. A reception for family and friends will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in Nancy’s memory be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and in the memo please write “Tuition Assistance”.
