History & Staff

The Shikany Funeral Home was founded in 1978 by Walter R. and Elizabeth B. Shikany. It was founded under the principle of “Our Family Serving Your Family” a tradition that continues today. Their son, William Shikany joined the firm in 1982.

Shikany Funeral Home is the oldest family owned funeral home serving the families of Bonita Springs, Naples, Estero and the Ft. Myers area. In 2001, Bill assumed the responsibilities of the day to day operations of the funeral home.
